What to know
Kinesiology tape is a flexible adhesive material placed on the skin. Unlike a rigid support, it can move with the body. The office offers taping within its range of musculoskeletal services. Placement, skin tolerance and the purpose of taping should be explained before application.
Before you decide
Mention adhesive sensitivities, rashes or broken skin. Ask how to remove the tape, how long to leave it in place and which symptoms mean you should stop using it. Tape does not establish a diagnosis or replace evaluation after an injury. A clinician can explain whether it has a role in your plan.
Plan a conversation
Call the Kendall office to discuss an evaluation. The team can explain scheduling and the information to bring, including any existing reports. Confirm fees and coverage directly before committing to care.
